I am a Science-Based Force Free Positive Reinforcement Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I have dedicated my life and career to the care and well-being of all animals, most especially dogs, and cats. I provide private consultation-training services either in your home or at Wyolina Kennels Resort, as well as a variety of group classes and specialty clinics at the Wyolina Kennels Resort facility in Harrisburg NC.

I have focused on behavior and training throughout my career and continuing education. I have worked for over 28 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Veterinary Practice Manager, and Professional Dog Trainer. I am a CPDT-KA trainer, a Pat Miller Certified Trainer4 and Affiliate, Victoria Stilwell Academy graduate, a Fear Free Certified Professional Trainer, and a member of the Pet Professional Guild, Association of Profession Dog Trainers, Fear Free Certified Professionals, and the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians.

To further my education, in 2019 I moved to Maryland to study under the renowned Pat Miller, attending her advanced training academies and completing a 2.5-year internship under her tutelage. I also had the

honor of and gained invaluable experience employed as a lead trainer at her Peaceable Paws facility. Upon the completion of my internship, I moved back to NC to be closer to my family and to return to

my business. Although I am originally from Roswell Georgia, greater Charlotte has been my home for over 30 years.

My furry family members are Stilwell – a 5.5-year-old Terrier mix, Miller-a 1.5-year-old Pug, and Petula-a 1.5yr old domestic short hair cat. Sadly, we recently lost Cora, our 17-year-old Basenji-Shephard mix.
